Autumn Reeser was born in Southern California on September 21, 1980, to Tom and Kim Reeser. She was bitten by the acting bug as a young child and participated in a wide variety of local theater productions. After graduating high school, Autumn was accepted to UCLA’s competitive theater program. There she studied theater history, acting technique, dance, voice, and movement. She furthered her education by studying at the Beverly Hills Playhouse. Autumn’s first break into the world of television came from a guest role in an episode of Star Trek: Voyager. She continued booking guest roles on shows such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Cold Case, Birds of Prey, and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. In 2004, she landed her first major recurring role as Angela in the ABC series Complete Savages. A year later, Autumn would be cast in the incredibly popular teen drama The OC. Joining the cast as Taylor Townsend, she was originally slated for four episodes; however, this was expanded to fifteen episodes. In season 4, following Mischa Barton’s departure from the series, Autumn was made a series regular and appeared in all 16 episodes. The OC ended its run in 2007; however, this did not discourage Autumn and she quickly booked roles on Ghost Whisperer and Pushing Daisies along with starring in the ABC Family original movie Nature of the Beast. Autumn would go on to star in the independent film Palo Alto and the direct to video Lost Boys: The Tribe, sequel to the cult classic Lost Boys. In 2008, Autumn returned to television as a series regular in the CW series Valentine; however, the show did not fare well in the ratings and ultimately only filmed 8 episodes. A year later, Autumn was cast in arguably her second most well-known role as Lizzie Grant on Entourage. This same year, Autumn married her long-time boyfriend, Jesse Warren. Her next big role would come soon after as she was made a series regular on the new ABC superhero series No Ordinary Family. During an appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Show, Autumn announced that she was pregnant with her first child. The writers of NOF included her pregnancy in the series with her character, Katie, giving birth about a month before Autumn welcomed her first son Finneus “Finn” James on May 10, 2011. Following the cancellation of No Ordinary Family, Autumn filmed guest spots on Royal Pains, Hawaii Five-0, and Jane By Design and in 2012 went out for pilot season. As luck would have it, her pilot (Last Resort) was picked up for the fall season. Unfortunately, the show never found a strong audience despite being met with positive reviews from critics. She later joined the series Necessary Roughness as Abigail Bruce for seven episodes in their third, and final, season. In May of that year, Autumn announced she was expecting her second child. Dashiell “Dash” Ford was born on November 25, 2013. While Autumn juggled motherhood and acting, she began a new project – a lifestyle blog called MOVE. In November 2014, Autumn filed for divorce from her husband Jesse Warren. Over the next few years, Autumn continued a steady stream of guest starring roles on series such as Hart of Dixie, The Whispers, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, and Salvation. She also began working with the Hallmark Channel appearing in over half a dozen of their original movies. Most recently, Autumn appeared on E!’s the Arrangement and Fox’s 9-1-1. She also appeared as a lead in the action film Kill ‘Em All and the crime thriller Valley of Bones. While Autumn is most known for her television work, she has always had a passion for theater and has been a member of The Workjuice Players, a theatre troupe known for The Thrilling Adventure Hour where she starred as Amelia Earhart. Currently, Autumn lives in Los Angeles, California where she is raising her two sons.
